• If I send you my resume when can I expect to hear from you?
Once IHS receives your resume it will be placed in the active database. This database is used by all IHS search consultants on a regular basis. You will be notified that your resume was received. As soon as there is a search which matches your qualifications and interests a search consultant will contact you. If there is no immediate match available you will be sent a notice every 3 months indicating that your file is still active and asking you for any updated information or change of job status. Be assured that IHS will contact you as soon as a good match is available. If you do not hear from us it means there is nothing of immediate interest. We have not forgotten you.

  • How long does a typical search take?
A search typically takes 4 to 6 months but can vary widely from this under different circumstances. Your search consultant will give you an estimated timeframe for any search in which you are involved.

  • IHS provides services for which types of searches?
In general we do permanent placement of department managers, directors and executive positions in provider and managed care organizations. We also do some interim management placements.
